This handsome guy is eager to learn and thrives on positive reinforcement - especially when tasty treats are involved. Highly food motivated and always up for a good game of tug, Drako will be a fun and engaging companion for an active home. He's looking for a family ready to continue his training and help him build great manners as he grows. While we don't have a history of Drako living with other pets, we think he may do well with other dogs and possibly with dog-savvy cats given proper introductions. He would likely do best with school-aged children and up who can participate in his training and playtime. If you're ready for a playful, smart companion, Drako might be your perfect match! The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at info@rispca.org.
