Drake's Story

Drake is one of two brothers in the Village shelter. He is the calmer of the two. Meaning when you go up to pet on him he doesn't typically get overexcited and jumpy but instead stays more calm and collected and lays down for you to love on him. When he came into the shelter he was diagnosed with Demodectic Mange, which had his skin looking quite bad. But, with some medicine and some good food he has started to get better! There are still spots that are hairless but they are no longer scabbed over and well, gross looking. He and his brother have had some tough times out on the streets and it is clear they weren't taught hardly anything before being brought in. This means they will need some work and some patience. That being said, they are cute as buttons when they want to be and it's hard not to fall in love with them. Does anyone want to give Drake a second chance at a home life?
