Dracula's Story

Dracula, certainly named for his bright white teeth and dashing smile!, is a striking young pup of just 6 months old and weighs about 35 lbs so he’s likely to be on the large size when full grown. He absolutely LOVES to play with toys, exuberantly strutting around with them, head-shaking them and tossing them in the air to entertain himself… one can’t help but smile when watching how joyful he is! He is sleek and beautiful but has large paws and a goofy gait which makes him all the more endearing. Contrary to his name, Dracula is as sweet as can be, dog friendly and loves to play with canine and human friends alike. Being a puppy with lots of energy he would do well in an active home, perhaps with another dog or older children to play with. Dracula is coming to New England in mid-December and is determined to overcome “black dog syndrome” (a phenomenon where black dogs have a hard time getting adopted) before the Holidays hit! He is sure to brighten anyone’s day and add levity and joy to any home! If you are interested in learning more about our dashing, goofy and adorable Dracula and might be interested in adopting, fostering to adopt or fostering him until he finds his forever home, please contact Village for Paws Rescue at villageforpawsrescue@gmail.com for more information or to fill out an application.
