Draco's Story

Not only would you be adopting an amazing dog, but you’d also be giving room to the next dog that needs our help!

Draco – The Athletic Adventure Buddy

Personality Highlights:
• Medium-sized Black Mouth Cur mix
• Energetic, playful, and sweet-natured
• Walks well on leash and loves outdoor time
• Fence-jumper extraordinaire – needs a secure yard or leash walks
• Dog-friendly and good with respectful kids
• Rarely barks, enjoys affection and petting

Bio:
Draco is a young, athletic boy with a heart of gold and a serious case of the zoomies. He came to us after his previous owner’s threatened to abandon—or worse—harm him when they had to move, a neighbor stepped in and saved his life..This compact little guy might not be big, but he’s strong, agile, and can clear a 5-foot fence like it’s nothing (and has even scaled 6-foot ones with determination!).

Despite his super-athlete skills, Draco is a total sweetheart. He enjoys calm pets, takes affection gently, and doesn’t bark much. He gets along with other dogs and walks nicely on leash, making him a great companion for walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures. Draco would thrive with an active person or family who can give him plenty of exercise—and a yard or setup that keeps his jumping talent safely contained.

Adopt Draco, and you’ll gain not just a loyal companion but a running buddy, trail partner, and affectionate friend who’ll make every day brighter.
