Dr. Johns's Story
Dr. Johns is a beautiful German Shepherd who was surrendered by family members after his original owner moved out and left him behind. He has been in foster with a dog trainer and is doing amazing! Although gorgeous, some things need to be noted: he is a hard no on cats and small dogs. He does great with dogs his size or larger and loves to run. We highly recommend he goes to a home with a fenced yard or experience with exercising such large breeds. His leash manners could use some work, but his potty training is coming along nicely and would continue to do so with a consistent routine. He will begin heartworm treatment on 2/26. We will require meet and greets for home with other dogs.
