Dozer (Finn)'s Story

ADOPTION OF A PUPPY UNDER 9 MONTHS OF AGE

The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). Puppies are placed into their new homes on a foster-to-adopt basis until he/she is old enough to be neutered or spayed. We prefer the puppy to be no younger than 7 months old for females and 9 months for males. Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be restricted from the pool with fencing or a cover. Additional puppy vaccines will be required, and will be coordinated by SPR to occur either in your home by an SPR volunteer, or brought by the adopter to an SPR-approved facility. Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates which home is the best match with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown.

Meet the Shotzie Litter – Finn
Born on February 28, 2025, these adorable puppies are now ready to find their forever families!

Their journey began under remarkable circumstances — their devoted mama, Shotzie, gave birth beneath a trailer, doing everything in her power to keep her babies safe. Her gentle and loving nature shines through in each one of her pups.

Finn is one of Shotzie’s handsome little boys. He’s sweet, curious, and full of that classic puppy playfulness. Like his siblings, Finn has been lovingly raised and well-socialized with both other dogs and children. He’s growing fast and starting to show off his unique, endearing personality.

Now, all these little survivors need is a safe, indoor home and a family to love them — could that be you?

If you're interested in adopting Kris, Luna, Stella, Dillon, and Finn, please fill out our online application here:
http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/

Meet and greets will be scheduled only with approved applications. Please remember we are an all-volunteer rescue, so it may take a couple of days to process applications and complete reference checks.

Thank you for choosing rescue and for considering giving one of these sweet pups a forever home!
