Doug's Story

Doug & his brother were rescued after they were found as a stray and ended up at an overcrowded SW Virginia shelter. They are the BEST boys!! Great with other dogs - love to play, good with cats - very respectful, and good with kids. They are crate trained and sleep nicely in there at night and are working hard on house training. They are just super sweet snuggly boys. They would make great additions to any family. The adoption fee is $375 and includes age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and neuter. The adoption process can take anywhere from one to several weeks. Please be patient as we volunteer our time & with the large number of animals in need we may not be able to respond the same day. We do our best to respond to all emails in a timely manner!  Once we have your completed application, our adoption coordinator will schedule a phone interview with you. Next we will speak with the references you listed & your current veterinarian to verify all animals in the home are up to date on vaccinations & preventatives. **RENTERS** PLEASE verify with your landlord or management company you are allowed to have a dog AND that there are NO BREED RESTR
