Doug's Story

I'm Doug! I'm a 2 year-old Yorki mix that weighs about 15 lbs -- Sweet, snuggly, and a total lovebug. I'm gentle, playful, and have a cute little "talk" bark that'll make you smile. I love walks, car rides, and exploring the yard. I was rescued after being found in the City, so I'd really love a quiet home in the country where I can feel safe and loved. Ready to meet your new best friend?

Doug is a young Yorki mix with a heart as soft as his fluffy white fur. Sweet, playful, and snuggly, Doug has a playful, gentle nature that makes him an instant favorite. He has the cutest little "talk" bark -- just his way of saying hello -- and he's happiest when he's exploring the yard, going for leisurely walks, or curling up for cuddles. Doug rides beautifully in the car and walks well on a leash. He was found wandering the City and has been through a lot, so big city life can still make him a little nervous. Because of that, Doug would thrive in a calm, quieter home with a yard where he can feel safe, loved, and free to enjoy the simple things. Although Doug does well playing with other dogs he would do best in a single dog home as he can get a little domineering over his environment. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion who's equal parts playful and affectionate, Doug is your guy.

Could Doug be the perfect match for you?
Vaccinations Up to Date: Yes

Microchipped: Yes

Neutered: Yes

Good on Leash: Yes

Good with Kids: Older children

Good with Other Dogs: Selective - Good with most

Good with Cats: Unknown

Potty Trained: Yes

Special Needs: None

Apply to adopt Doug today!
