I’m Dottie!<br/><br/>I’ve been searching for a foster or forever home my whole life, and I can’t wait for the day I finally get to be part of a loving family.<br/><br/>I’ve been working hard to be the best pup I can be for my future people! I’m a great listener and know lots of commands like sit, stay, lay down, leave it, go to your spot, go to bed, drop it, touch, and more. I’m super cuddly and gentle with humans—I love to snuggle and give sweet little love nibbles.<br/><br/>Some of my favorite things are walking in Theodore Wirth Park, visiting my favorite sniff spots, chasing bugs, car rides, cozy quiet places, pleasing my handlers, and making silly faces.<br/><br/>The people I know are my whole world. I can be a little cautious with strangers, but I’m getting braver every day and exploring the world with more confidence.<br/><br/>I enjoy going on pack walks and being around other dogs, but I don’t like to share my food—so I’d thrive in a home where I’m your one and only pup. I’ve met a few kids and while I’m curious, their wild and fast movements can spook me sometimes.
