Dottie's Story

Meet Dottie! This sweet two year old girl has recently entered foster care with Every Last One Rescue, and we have loved watching her blossom in just a short time out of the shelter! Dottie is an absolute sweetheart and is one of the most affectionate, silly, playful dogs you will ever meet. She greets everyone with a loose, wiggly body and is always ready for pets and belly rubs. She loves giving kisses and flopping over for pets (her favorite move!). Every new person she meets is an instant best friend. Her tail seemingly never stops wagging! Dottie is always up for a game of tug of war (which she always wins because she's so strong) and loves her enrichment treats and games. She's just as happy going for long walks as she is napping with you on the couch. She loves to nuzzle up to you and bury her head in your lap for a good snooze. She's building confidence every day and her foster mom has loved getting to see more of her playful, silly side! She will always keep you laughing - It's the best part of her foster mom's day when Dottie feels safe enough to show a new personality quirk. Her foster mom has recently learned what an adventurer Dottie is. She loves to sniff and explore every inch on her walks and sometimes she gets so excited she will do a little hop! Dottie has been working hard on her leash manners, and has been making amazing strides. She's very food motivated and will do just about anything for a piece of cheese. She's potty trained, crate trained, knows a few tricks, and most of all, she's just a wonderful, loving dog who's ready to find a family to give all that love right back to her!
