I am a female Jack Russell/Basset mix. I am about 3 yrs old. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea preventative. My adoption is $250. <P><br/><br/>I was given up by my owners because they did not have time for me.<P><br/><br/>Unfortunately, they did not have me on heartworm preventative so I was heartworm positive. A New Beginning had me treated for the heartworms and i am also through the recovery period.<P><br/><br/>I will need to stay on monthly heartworm preventative (just like all the other dogs) and be retested 6 months from the date that I was treated. This is to make sure that all the worms have died. It is very rare, but sometimes the test is still positive and then I would need to be retreated. Luckily, if this were to happen, A New Beginning would have me treated again.<P><br/>Please email for an adoption application.
