Dottie's Story

Dottie was found as a stray alongside her daughter (or possibly her sister), and she’s been turning heads ever since. With her gorgeous coat and striking markings, she’s truly stunning—but her beauty is only the beginning. Dottie is smart, affectionate, and full of personality. She really has it all!

She absolutely adores people and greets her humans with enthusiastic kisses. Playtime is one of her favorite things—she loves her toys and often carries one around wherever she goes. Dottie is an impressive ball retriever… though in her mind, bringing the ball back is sometimes optional!

Highly treat-motivated and eager to learn, Dottie makes training a breeze. She has the intelligence and focus to become one of those dogs who truly wows you with her skills.

Dottie has not yet been tested with small children, but her biggest risk would likely be accidentally knocking over an unsteady little one with her happy enthusiasm. She has not been cat-tested and tends to meet other dogs cautiously.

Dottie is crate trained and enjoys going in on her own to chew a toy or take a nap with the door wide open. She walks nicely on a leash, looking up at her handler for approval.
