Meet Dottie <br/>At 10 years young, this sweet little chihuahua mix is searching for a soft place to land after the heartbreaking loss of her human. Dottie is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and a calm, predictable routine. Dottie is a certified foodie! She absolutely loves her treats! Because of that, she could stand to cut back just a bit on the extra cookies to help keep her feeling her best. The good news? Her recent bloodwork looked great! She is also scheduled for a dental in May, and we’ll go over all of those details with her future family. Dottie does have a heart murmur. She is not currently on any medication, but it will be important for her adopter to have it monitored periodically by a veterinarian to ensure she stays happy and healthy. This sweet girl is a little stiff and prefers a slower pace of life. She’s not going far on adventures these days, but she’s more than content with short strolls, warm naps in sunny spots, and curling up right next to her person. Dottie does okay with other dogs but appreciates her personal space. She may take a minute to warm up and will let other dogs know if they’re being too pushy, so a calm, respectful companion (or being your one-and-only) would suit her best. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion to share quiet days, cozy nights, and lots of snuggles, Dottie is ready to fill that spot in your heart.
