Dottie's Story

Dottie is here. She spent her young life trapped in a crate in a garage. Her rear legs were very weak, she was underweight and anemic. She is on an iron supplement. We have started her vaccines. She was HW neg but did test positive for lyme disease. She is currently taking doxycycline. She goes back to the vet on 3/16 for boosters and an anemia recheck.<br/>TLC Rescue is proud to be part of For All Paws Sake. TLC Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adoption Process: application, vet reference, home visit, meet-n-greet with the dog. If everyone (human, canine, feline) is in agreement that it's a good fit, an adoption contract is signed at the time of adoption and the fee ($250) is paid when the contract is signed. Prior to arranging the in-person meeting, we will review your application, speak to your vet, and contact you to discuss the dog you are interested in, their needs, your lifestyle, and whatever else can help both you and us determine if the dog might be a good fit for your family. Should an adoption not work out for some reason, we will always take our dogs back.
