Dottie's Story

Looking for a gentle, loving, and loyal companion? Meet Dottie, a 2–3-year-old, 40–45lbs pittie mix who’s as sweet as they come. She’s a truly good dog — and she’s ready to be someone’s whole world.

Dotti has the cutest spotted coat and an even bigger heart. At about 40–45 lbs, she’s the perfect medium size — big enough for adventures but small enough for couch cuddles.

Dottie is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all her vaccines — healthy, happy, and ready for a forever home. She’s been dog-friendly with all the pups at the shelter she has been paired with at play time. Above all, Dottie is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who just wants to love and be loved.

Right now, Dottie is at the Hillsboro Shelter where she watches her friends get adopted one by one. Each time, she wags her tail and hopes her turn will come next.

She’s such a wonderful dog who deserves her happily-ever-after — a soft bed, loving people, and a place to finally call home. If you think you can be the one to offer Dottie the life she deserves, please complete an application at www.RTHRS.com

Let’s make sure she doesn’t have to keep wondering when it will be her turn.
