Dottie's Story

***Dottie***
5 year old female black Labrador Retriever mix?

My name is Dottie and I just love life! I cannot wait to find my forever family to love and teach my new things about the world.

I have been in a foster home with two big dogs and while I like them, I REALLY enjoy humans! I absolutely am not a fan of cats, so no cats or other small animals for me.

Did I say I also love the humans I live with? I follow them around all day and love to be close to someone all day. I even like to lay on top of them on the couch at night. For that reason, I'd do best in a home with older children.

I like being in my crate! I sleep there at night and I am used to being in there while my humans are at work or school. I am used to soft music playing to help me relax a little.

I am potty trained and listen really well. I could use some leash training and a few more basic commands but I love to please so that should be easy for me .

Would you like to be my forever home? I have been told I am the best cuddler 🙂

If you'd like to meet me, and if you are an approved LELRR adopter, refer to the instructions on your approval email.

Otherwise, please fill out an application at:
https://www.lelrr.org/adopt.html

and maybe soon we can start our lives together!!

Be prepared to provide proof of up to date vaccinations and year round heartworm preventative for any current or recent pets that you have owned.

Adoption radius 150 driving miles from Medina OHIO
