Dot Dot "Dottie"'s Story
Meet Dot Dot—though around here, we like to call her Dottie. Like her name, she’s got just the right amount of extra charm: playful, social, and sweet with a dash of mischief to keep life interesting. At 2 years old and 50 pounds, this bright-eyed black lab is equal parts athlete and cuddle bug. She’s always ready for a good game of fetch or a jog, but when the fun is over, she’s more than happy to curl up next to her human—or pile into a snuggle puddle with her doggy friends.

Of course, being a young lab, Dottie is still working on perfecting her “good girl résumé.” She’s the kind of pup who would thrive with a family willing to give her structure, guidance, and maybe a few snacks as payment. She’ll happily trade a little training time for a lifetime of loyalty, tail wags, and unconditional love.

Dottie is spayed, chipped, UTD on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm and tick disease, which basically means she’s healthy, happy, and ready to dot-dot-dash her way straight into your home and heart.

Bring Dottie home, and you’ll quickly realize—she’s not just a good dog. She’s the exclamation point your family has been missing.

Want to meet her? Please fill out our application at azhartt.org/adopt

Requirements include meeting everyone in the household, dog intros (if applicable), and a home check.

Adoption applications are approved on a best-fit basis.

We do not do out-of-state adoptions.
