Dot's Story
MEET DOT

Dot's perfect home would be with a patient person or couple with no children in the household. A quiet home would be well suited to Dot's personality. And a relaxed, not overly active environment as Dot's interest in engaging with the world is very narrow. She is opening up from working with a naturopath and we discovered she loves car rides.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Qualities: affectionate, quiet, intelligent, house trained
Limitations: shy, not comfortable with other dogs until she gets to know
them

Since writing her original bio Dot was adopted to a family in another city and had a difficult time acclimating. She loved the young boy in the family but was nervous and barked at the father. For this reason she was returned to our rescue ill with chronic diarrhea. After treatment by a wonderful naturopath and some emotional support Dot is opening up again. Please know that whom ever adopts her should be a) a dedicated dog lover, b) responsible and c) willing and open to natural health options which she has thrived on. I have no doubt in a quiet, loving home that she would thrive. Dot loves lounging in her kennel or on your bed watching the household operate. She does not enjoy the outside world but we are still working on this. She does not like other dogs right away, but is good after a warm-up, although she would be fine as an only dog.

Dot is a Staffey or Dogo/Boxer mix. She is a middle child and very unassuming. She loves to be close for attention and loves to give kisses. Or she will lay on her bed relaxing and waiting for meals. She loves to play and romp with her siblings, but is not overly energetic. Dot is a very happy, quiet and affectionate pup, but tends to be a bit shy with new people.

Dot is raw fed and naturally reared, and has blossomed on this protocol. She loves treats like apples in yogurt or peanut butter. Her coat is snow white and so velvety soft. She has beautiful pale teal colored eyes. A gorgeous pup, Dot has to be seen to be appreciated.

Dot is with No One's Dog Rescue in Cypress, Texas. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit who take in street dogs, revitalize their health and find loving forever homes.
