Dorothy Zbornak 's Story
Meet Dorothy Zbornak.

Dorothy is dog friendly, passed her cat eval, and seems to like kiddos! She is playful, loving, crate trained, and learning how to walk nicely on a leash.

Dorothy, like so many others, has had a very hard start to life, and we only hope to let her forget her past, and give her a very bright future.

Dorothy came to us via a rescuer who took her in from the street/backyard breeder. She had been living in an outdoor enclosure in the Tucson heat, and had never been to a veterinarian to indicate a major heart defect, that would have been detected upon a first visit - Pulmonic Stenosis. Dorothy’s stenosis is congenital. However, she was able to have surgery on January 17th to correct it and she’s expected to live a normal, happy life!

Dorothy’s ideal home would be with a patient family and another dog to help her continue to learn how to dog. If you’re interested in adopting Dorothy please submit an adoption application with her rescue, Hope of Deliverance, at hopeofdeliverance.org.

Dorothy is 1-year-old, spayed, microchipped, UTD on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $200.
