Meet Dorothy Zbornak. <br/><br/>Dorothy is dog friendly, passed her cat eval, and seems to like kiddos! She is playful, loving, crate trained, and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. <br/><br/>Dorothy, like so many others, has had a very hard start to life, and we only hope to let her forget her past, and give her a very bright future.<br/><br/>Dorothy came to us via a rescuer who took her in from the street/backyard breeder. She had been living in an outdoor enclosure in the Tucson heat, and had never been to a veterinarian to indicate a major heart defect, that would have been detected upon a first visit - Pulmonic Stenosis. Dorothy’s stenosis is congenital. However, she was able to have surgery on January 17th to correct it and she’s expected to live a normal, happy life!<br/><br/>Dorothy’s ideal home would be with a patient family and another dog to help her continue to learn how to dog.
