To adopt or to set up a meet & greet, please fill out an adoption application on our website LeitchfieldAnimalShelter.com. Once we receive your application, we will call you the next business day to set up a meeting. Most of our adoptable animals will be eligible for same day adoptions.

Our Mission

We are an open intake facility for the City of Leitchfield and Grayson County Stray dogs. All domestic dogs and cats will be adopted out after their 5 day hold time is up.
