Dora's Story
Female - 4 months - 25 lbs - Microchipped - Spay Contract - NHHi! My name is Dora! I am a 4-month-old (DOB: 10-25-2025), currently 25 lb female. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me spayed at 6 months of age, which will be April 2026. I am doing well with housetraining and am almost at 100% as long as I am taken out on a consistent schedule! I am already crate-trained and will take a nap in my crate when I am left home alone. Since I am still a little puppy, it’s safest for me to stay in my crate when unsupervised.
I love all people I’ve met so far, including men, women, and children! I will actively seek affection from both my humans and visitors to our home, the more people the merrier!
I have been doing well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind if there’s an adult canine companion in my home to help show me the ropes. Speaking of ropes, I love toys! I haven’t decided on a favorite yet, they’re all so fun. I have started learning to chase thrown toys in what I’m told is a game called “fetch”. I have not been exposed to cats to know how I feel about them.
I like to tag along for car rides and am doing well learning how to walk on leash. I have also learned the cue for “sit”. I am an adventurous and curious girl who would love an active family who will continue my training and including me on outings. Could you be the family I am searching for?
Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogDora
For more information, please contact adoptions@echodogs.org.

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
To review our adoption procedure and submit an online application, visit: www.echodogs.org/procedure
