Hey, my name is Dora. I am six years old and I weigh over fifty pounds. I came to the rescue after I was found in the woods with a new puppy. Sadly, I had five but when they found me there had been a lot of rain and only one was alive. I did my best but there was so much water. Anyways, I took care of Daisy until she was old enough to leave my side and its time for me to find a home of my own. I did have a home for awhile but they returned me to the rescue because they said their life was going to change in a big way and I didn't fit in anymore. Oh well, can you love me forever?? I feel young and playful. I like most other dogs and cats don't really interest me...to be honest I don't care about chickens either. I must confess I like the male dogs better, well they are so handsome! Toys are ok and running in the fenced yard is fun. Please don't misunderstand I want to live in the house with you and just play and potty outside. I have been working with a trainer and all my basic manners. Do you have time to spend with me? I get so excited to see you. I want to love you and have a real home I can call ours. I have been spay, vaccinated and microchipped. I am current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
