Dora's Story

Hi, I'm Dora!

I was originally found as a stray and was scared and confused, so understandably I can be very leery of new situations. I am initially nervous around new people, requiring time to build trust. However, once I warm up to you, tail wags and pittie zoomies are what you're in for! Once you're my friend I am super affectionate and playful and will be a wonderful companion to keep you entertained. I do tend to come on strong around other dogs and have some leash reactivity, but I have also been playful with my kennel neighbor too. That being said, I may be able to live with a doggie friend as long as we get a proper, slow introduction. I'm not sure how I feel about cats, but I am certainly willing to try if you are. Due to my fearful nature and some handling sensitivity, I'm hoping to find an adult only home (kiddos 15+) that can help me build confidence. If you think I could be the gal for you, please come on in to meet me!

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 11-5pm.

---

The Pennsylvania SPCA - Main Line Animal Rescue

1149 Pike Springs Rd

Chester Springs, PA 19425

Kennel #2857

610-933-0606

info@mlar.org
