She would like a home where she is the only pet, but she loves kids! Doofy came into our care as a stray, and unfortunately her owners never came forward to claim her. She is very silly, sweet, gives the best kisses, and loves to play, but she also loves to hang out on the couch and be lazy all day too. She is up to date on vaccines, fixed, microchipped, and started on preventatives. P.S. The red-ish staining on her chest is from drooling due to the stress of kennel life, but we expect that habit and staining to go away as soon as she is back in a home! For The Sake of Being Humane's Adoption Policy

For EVERY adoption we require an approved application (which includes a vet reference), a meet and greet with the potential adopters current dogs/children/family members, submission of pictures of the applicants home and yard, a contract signing, and an adoption fee. The adoption is finalized usually after the meet and greet (which usually only takes 30mins). We do offer Foster-to-adopt scenarios for some adoptions that we want to make sure are going to work out before finalizing things!
