My name is Doobie and I’m a beautiful, young, healthy boy…..with an “old soul” at heart. I love everyone and would enjoy a home with another dog to play with and an adopter who has a large safely fenced yard (no invisible fencing, please) and who would teach me lots of new things.<br/>(I walk well on a leash most of the time, but when I see a squirrel or a deer I pull on my leash and I’m a big, strong guy. And I tend to jump up on people because I love them so much--so I probably wouldn’t be a good fit for an older, frail person or a family with very young children). But….I’m eager to please and am a quick study so I’m learning quickly!<br/><br/>I am about a year and a half old and I weigh about 60 lbs. The rescue group who saved me says they think I’m part Lab and part (some kind of) Hound, but….once you adopt me, it would be fun to have you do a DNA test on me!<br/><br/>My adoption fee is $250 and I have been neutered, immunized, microchipped, and I have had (negative) heartworm tests done.
