Donner's Story

Hi there, my name is Donner and I am really glad you stopped to look at me. I am a one year old hound mix kind of guy, about 46 pounds of sweetness, curiosity, and gentle heart. I am still young but I already know that the best things in life are kind words, soft pets, and being close to my people.

I can be a little bashful at first, especially when I am meeting someone new, but give me just a moment and my true self shines through. Once I know I am safe, I turn into a very affectionate boy who loves attention and being near you. I have one of those faces that always looks like I am listening carefully, because I am, I want to know all about you.

I came in as a stray with another male dog, so I already know how to share space and be polite. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids too. I am gentle by nature and I really try to do the right thing. I would love a home where I can keep building my confidence, go on nice walks, sniff all the good smells, and curl up at the end of the day feeling like I belong.

If you are looking for a sweet, loving companion who will be your quiet shadow and your loyal friend, I might just be your guy. I promise to give you my whole heart.

Donner is located in Erie County, Pennsylvania, with an adoption fee of $275.
