Donna's Story
Dear Donna, spent a long time wandering around Brooklyn with an injured foot.
Nearly emaciated she found herself in the pound.
A volunteer was ennamoured by her and notified many when Donna ended p on the euth list.
Wow!...we were lucky! She is a dream dog. Quiet, well mannered, house trained (even curb trained). She is mellow, but clearly has been around the block a few times and can handle herself in most situations.
She is fine with other dogs, great on a leash, is happy to just lay by your feet and go on walks.
Her "injury" was diagnosed as a low grade hemangiopericytoma. It is being removed tomorrow (July 6) thanks to donations from her many fans. In
a few weeks she should be as good as new!
She is just a wonderful companion. Take her for a stroll, to the cafe, even to work
She weighs about 35 lbs. Looks much better than her photos (attached are from when she was in shelter) Soon there will be new ones
This girl is a gem, please come meet her. Share our luck
