Donna's Story

A fan of That 70's Show? You want to learn about our Donna, Jackie and Kelso Litter then.

Donna came to us with her 2 siblings after being transferred from a Kentucky shelter through one of our rescue partners. They made their way to Chicago to become Chicago Rescue Authority babies and we are looking for the families that will make them Alumni versus In Care. Is that you?

Let me tell you a little bit about Donna to see if she could fit the hole you're looking to fill with a loving puppy.
- She is working on potty training. Since she is just about 12 weeks old this is something that is still in progress. She is grasping the concept and going out every 3-4 hours. She has utilized pee pads and outside time.
- Crate training is new and she is improving a little bit more and more every day. She sleeps in her crate and only wakes up once over night. She doesn't take long to settle and enjoys total darkness with a nice crate cover.
- Leash training? Needs some work, with the weather not suitable for a small baby like her this has not been practiced as much as normal. However, she is not scared of the leash and can be bribed with treats. Can't we all?
- She loves to be around her people and is destined to be a companion in her forever home. She enjoys a good lap and somewhere safe to lay.
- She is dog friendly AND better yet respects the boundaries of her foster siblings. She enjoys some place time but isn't overly energetic either.

Want to learn more about her? Interested in being considered her forever home? Apply here. Her adoption fee includes her age appropriate vaccinations, up to date prevention (flea, tick and heartworm), multiple rounds of deworming, spay and microchip. She is being fostered in the Chicagoland area and is currently available in or within a 3 hour radius.
