Dolly

DOLLY | 9 weeks | 7 lbs | Terrier Mix

"Islands in the stream..."

Well, bless your heart, because this little country cutie is about to steal it! Meet Dolly, named after the one and only Dolly Parton. Just like her namesake, she's sweet as pie, full of personality, and has just enough sass to keep things interesting.

At 7 lbs, Dolly is a tiny little lady with a whole lot of love to give. She may look like a miniature pittie in pictures, but those little feet have us guessing she'll stay in the small-to-medium size range. Of course, that's just our best guess!

Dolly is playful, smart, curious, and absolutely loves being part of the action. Cooking dinner? She's helping. Couch time? She's bringing the cuddles. Something exciting happening? Well, she certainly isn't missing out!

She's wonderful with kids and other dogs and has the sweetest little face, complete with her very own perfect eyeliner.

Dolly is also crate trained and settles nicely in her kennel after a little bedtime protest because, naturally, she would much rather be snuggled up with her people.

"Working 9 to 5..."

Dolly's schedule is a little different: play, cuddle, cause a little mischief, look adorable, repeat.

This sweet girl is ready to find her forever family. If you're looking for a little country sweetheart with a big personality and a whole lot of love, Dolly might just be your girl.

Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.

Follow us on FACEBOOK: www.Facebook.com/PawsUp4RescueJoliet/
on INSTAGRAM: www.Instagram.com/PawsUp4RescueJoliet/
on TikTok: PawsUp4RescueJoliet
