Meet Dolly! Dolly is a 1 year old Pit bull weighing in at 36 pounds. She can be a shy girl at first but once she opens up she is super sweet and full of love. Dolly is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. We do believe she would do best in a home as the only pet. She loves treats and is such a good girl for bath time. For any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 330-725-9121. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP, Bordetella , microchipped, a 1 year rabies vaccine, heartworm checked, 40X, and a current 1 year dog license. If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:00PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Medina County Dog Shelter's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are first come first served. You must be 18, in order to adopt. You are required to purchase a Medina County Dog tag, and that is included in the $64 adoption fee. Also, all dogs adopted from MCDS must be spayed or neutered within 6 months of adoption. You will be given a certificate for spay or neuter, and the cost of the procedure is included in the adoption fee, provided you go to a participating Veterinarian. There are no holds, or guarantees of adoption. In the event there is a high demand for a dog, there will be a drawing for that dog, held promptly at 10am on the day the dog goes up for adoption. There are no exceptions to any of our rules. All transactions are cash or check only. We can not accept credit or debit cards.
