Dolly's Story

Hello, Dolly!

You’re looking swell, Dolly!

This shy, calm, affectionate girl is looking for her forever home. She loves to be held and petted and will softly reach out her paw to ask for a little attention. At nighttime she snuggles up close beside her person on the bed and sleeps soundly through the night. She loves going for a walk and strolls along very nicely on a leash. Her demeanor is calm and quiet, although she perks up for a tennis ball!

Dolly’s shyness shows up most when meeting new dogs. She may duck behind her person for security, but does not bark or try to react. However, once she gets to know other dogs, she’s happy to be part of their pack. Because she is timid and sometimes fearful, she does not enjoy being around young children.

Dolly can be a little wary in new situations, but once she’s familiar with people and places, she’s confident, happy, and comfortable. If you decide to give Dolly a chance, it will be “so nice to have her home where she belongs!”

If you would like to meet Dolly, please complete our adoption application and put her name at the top.
