She needs time to warm up in new situations but does well once she has that time. She has learned that a quick dip in the kiddie pool can feel pretty nice. She is a very sweet girl who wants a family that will keep exposing her to her new world, making her a part of theirs.

She is doing well on her crate training so far too!

Dolly is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed and microchipped and started on monthly preventatives.

Adoption fee is $500+ tax (no checks)

Email to contact: adopt@newleashrescue.org

Please inquire if this pup will be attending any of our upcoming Saturday adoption events from 11-2pm at the Burnsville, Cottage Grove, or Maplewood PetSmart locations.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
