MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN FULLY SPONSORED - thanks to a generous donor! Hi I am Dolly! I'm a medium-sized girl estimated at 4 years old and weighing in at 50lbs. My rescue believed I'm a schnauzer/poodle mix, but that is a best guess - whatever my mix, I'm adorable! I'm a friendly gal that found myself in a high-kill county shelter hoping to be saved. Thankfully I landed at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue, where I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for a forever home. I love to go for walks, and I am good on a leash. I'm not sure about cats and am selective with other dogs, so I would need a proper introduction. II like to go on car rides, and am good with my house training/crate training. My $250 adoption fee is now fully sponsored and includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, heartworm test (negative), spay, deworming and microchip. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
