Dolly's Story

Meet Dolly! 🐾

Dolly came to us when her time at the shelter was running out. Now this sweet girl is ready for a cozy home filled with soft blankets and someone to snuggle beside.

With her adorable oversized ears and toothless smile, Dolly is hard to resist. She loves burrowing under blankets, following her person around the house, and curling up close. Sometimes she'll whine if you're too busy to give her attention--and as she gets comfortable, she's finding her voice and sharing more of her opinions!

Dolly gets along well with other dogs and enjoys a little backyard frolic when the sun is shining. Leash walks aren't her favorite, so she'd appreciate a relaxed home where she can enjoy outdoor breaks at her own pace.

She appears to be housetrained and will go outside or use pee pads, though she may have a small accident when excited or scared. She isn't destructive and does well with the run of the house while her people are at work. At night, her favorite place is in a human bed, snuggled against her person.

Dolly has no teeth and needs soft food. Being picked up can feel scary to her, so she needs gentle handling without sudden grabbing. A laid-back retirement-style home with patient people, plenty of blankets, and lots of affection would be her dream come true.

If your idea of a perfect companion is a sweet little shadow with big ears and a love of snuggling, Dolly may be your girl. ❤️

Dolly is being fostered in College Station, Texas.
