Relatives and friends kept dumping dogs on an older woman who was unable to afford them. They took advantage of her kindness… and we are so glad we were able to help her.<br/><br/>Dog is looking for his retirement home! Chill with a little spunk left. He’s ready for a sunny spot on your couch and will make a great companion. <br/><br/>Dog is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped & on flea/tick prevention. He is hearworm positive but is currently undergoing treatment at our veterinarian— he will be done with treatment on Valentine’s Day. He will make a complete recovery, so do not let the HW+ status deter you! It will not cost you any extra - his treatment is nearly complete. Consistent veterinary history of HW preventative is required to be considered for adoption. I will be checking!!!<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $275<br/><br/>Interested? Please only commit to adoption if you are willing to give the dog time to adjust to a home life – some dogs have been in our shelter for over a year.
