Dodger's Story

(DOB 12/24/2020) Dodger is a loyal, loving, and playful companion. He is looking for a chill home with confident doggy friend he can play with and a fenced in yard he can run and then just relax in the sun. Nothing makes him happier than going for a car ride and/or on a calm walk where he can explore the great outdoors.

Dodger is a bit nervous with new people and needs slow introductions. Once he's your friend, he is fiercely loyal and affectionate, but he needs patience and realistic expectations from his family. He doesn't want to be BFFs with every person on the block; think of him as the introvert of doggies as he prefers the company of a few rather than many. Pklus this makes his love that much more special .

Dodger is both crate trained and house trained. He loves a steady routine, so if you are a "Steady-Eddie" kind of a person, Dodger will reward you with endless affection and loyalty. He's looking for a home where his new family is ready to embrace his sweet, playful nature.

As part of Dodger's $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Dodger, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
