Dodger's Story
Kids - older dog savy kids
Cats - no
Dogs - Possibly well matched female
Special Needs - skin allergies/infection could reoccur

Prefer experienced home, breed experience a bonus.

Dodger is a big goofy boy who wasn't looking his best when he arrived. He was extremely undeweight and developed a skin infection that made his coat patchy and bald in some spots. With some vet care and time he looks like a completely different dog! We don't know if poor nutrition is to blame but potential adopters should keep in mind he could have issues down the road.

Dodger is a sweet boy who has been happy to meet everyone and make friends. Sometimes he can be a bit rude but we're working on those manners and seeing improvements. A home with breed experience would be a big asset and noting that he is a longer haired shepherd a good vacuum is a must!

Dodger has walked well on leash and gets a bit overexcited around other dogs. We're still working on introductions to other dogs as his first meet he was WAY to much and overwhelmed the other dog. Working with a trainer would be a great idea to ensure he's learning how to be a good dog friend.
