Dodger's Story
Dodger IS AVAILABLE (updated 04-02-2026). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/dodger 5-year-old Dodger (born in June of 2020) graduated Summa Cum Laude from an ivy league board and train program, where he lived with and trained with other dogs (who might not have had his stunning good looks, but he treated everyone as if they did). This big puppy learned so much there: how to be social and that there are rules that need to be followed, which ultimately lead to his own confidence and comfort. Dodger is a quick study and as smart as you'd expect from a working dog. He is living in a foster home, good in the house, and does great with his canine fosters. He's crate trained, potty trained, has a big ball/toy/food drive, and would be a great addition to a home with GSD experience. (He would not be a good fit as someone's first GSD, but, if this is your breed and you have experience, he will quickly become your all-time favorite dog out of all of your dogs.) Dodger loves the outdoors! His ultimate day is a hike in the morning and some long leash time in the afternoon. He loves to be active with his people! If you think Dodger could be a perfect fit for you, please reach out! The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
