DODGER's Story

CUTE AS CAN BE, PLAYFUL AND DEVOTED

That is the abbreviated version of what you can expect, if you bring Dodger home with you.

Dodger was a stray that earned his name by alluding capture for quite some time. He got real good at understanding traps and how to stay out of them, so when he was finally caught, he was already known as "The Artful Dodger"

Dodger is a young chap at just 5-6 months old, has an easy care low allergen wire coat and the cutest little under-bite that gives that adorable little face, an extra boost of personality. He should stay under 15lbs and will just need a good run through with a comb or brush, once a week, to keep in tip top shape.

In his foster home, he is shy with strangers but quite devoted to his foster mom and loves to hang out with her on the couch, in the yard or where ever she might be. He plays well with the dogs in her home but if you have seniors that do not appreciate a young puppy annoying them all the time, he may not be a great pick but if you have playful pups. Dodger is your guy!! He is good around the kitties too but wishes they would play too so if you have cats that are professional victims, Dodger will probably love annoying them too.

In his foster home, Dodger has learned and discovered many things, like crate training, housebreaking, leash walking and playing with toys. He LOVES his toys.
He is also very treat motivated and a very clever little fellow, so learning new things will be easy. He is good in the car too.

Anybody interested in this cutie, should be prepared for him to have a warm up time and them be prepared for him to display his puppy attributes. All Mutts Great and Small's Adoption Policy
We believe there are many different ways to be a successful dog owner. It is our intent to broaden the idea of happy dog/person relationships to go beyond the traditional. Our goal is to place people and dogs together with the intent being compatibility. We know these dogs and we want to match them with the person who will provide them with the best possible life. One they would have chosen themselves had they been able too. We do NOT have a standard list of "must haves", preferring to match dog with adopter. www.allmuttsgreatandsmall.org
