Dodge's Story

New to DRM, stay tuned for more info!!

Say hello to
Dodge
, our adorable Corgi mix who’s captured everyone’s hearts here at DRM! Dodge may not be a Doberman herself, but she came into our care after being found running side-by-side with one in Wichita, proving that loyalty and friendship truly know no breed. We couldn’t leave her behind, so she’s become our honorary “Doberman Plus One,” or as we like to say, our
Noberman
!

This 32-pound sweetheart is full of personality and charm. Dodge is a playful, affectionate young girl who loves all toys—especially stuffed animals, filled bones, and cow cheeks—and she hasn’t destroyed a single one! She enjoys playing with people, dogs, and even cats, and is doing wonderfully in her foster home alongside two feline friends.

Dodge has great house manners and is both crate trained and house trained. She’s very food motivated, which makes training fun and easy. She knows “wait,” “sit,” and “down,” and is currently working on “stay” and leash walking.

She loves to play in the fenced yard and rides beautifully in the car!

Dodge is confident and curious but still young, so she can be a bit jumpy when excited; small children should be supervised during playtime.

At home, Dodge settles nicely in her crate when left alone and shows no signs of separation anxiety, though she may whimper softly if she knows her people are nearby. Her gentle, loyal spirit shines through in everything she does, and she’s sure to bring endless joy and laughter to her forever family.

Dodge may be a “Noberman,” but her heart is pure rescue gold.

Ready to meet Dodge?
Please read all adoption steps and policies carefully on our website:

dobermanrescueminnesota.com/adoption-steps

.
Qualified adopters are within our approved adoption area, and meetings are arranged at the foster family’s home (typically within a 250-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN).

All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
