Doc Holliday's Story

If you’re looking for a dog who views life as one giant party, meet Doc Holliday. He is a 16-month old Lab/Border Collie mix who wants to love you at 100 miles per hour. He is 100% good boy and 110% energy. Doc can be a little timid at first, but once he trusts you, he is sweet, wiggly, and perpetually happy. His skills include professional-grade zoomies, expert snuggling, sliding through the grass like a seal, and being a competitive Nylabone chewer. As a youngster, he is working hard on learning house training and leash manners. He is calm in his crate and sleeps in it through the night. Doc gets along well with his three foster siblings, but could also do really well as the only dog in the house, too. Regardless, he needs a family who will be patient with him and keep him mentally stimulated through consistent training so he can develop into a confident and trusting adult dog. He is smart, deeply devoted to his people, and wants to please. Doc will thrive in an active home where he gets positive reinforcement and “jitterbug” is a term of endearment. He’s ready to find a family that can keep up with his rhythm!

Doc Holliday is being fostered in Aurora, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/doc-holliday/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
