Doc's Story

Hi there! I'm Doc, and I'm a sweet, 5-year-old dog looking for a medical foster home while I finish healing up. I had a double ACL surgery about 6 weeks ago, and I'm doing really well-but I still need a calm place to rest, recover, and get lots of TLC.

I can be a little shy at first, so I might need a little time to warm up to you. Once I do, though, you'll see my loving side-I'm all about getting attention and affection from the people I trust. I'd prefer a home without little kids, as they can be a bit overwhelming for me. I'm the type who needs to meet you a few times to really show you who I am, but once we're pals, I'm your loyal sidekick!

Right now, I need a foster who's comfortable giving medications and helping me take it easy while I recover. I also need to be your only pet in the home-but don't worry, I have more than enough love to give as your one-and-only furbaby!

My active adventure days are on hold while my legs finish healing, so I'm looking for a quiet, cozy home where I can rest, relax, and stay safe.

I can't wait to meet you and show you how sweet and resilient I am. Thanks for helping me on my journey to becoming strong enough for my forever home!

The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, PA Kennel License #02941, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042
