Doc's Story

THE FOLLOWING PET IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT!!! Details below

Meet Doc!

Doc is the little “thinker” of the 7 Dwarves litter — always looking like he’s studying his surroundings before deciding it’s time for fun. He enjoys exploring, playing with toys, and trotting along like he’s supervising the day’s activities. He and his littermates were rescued from a rural property where they were found starving with their mom after the owner went to jail, and Doc is now soaking up the puppy life he deserved from the start.

His mom is a German Shepherd and dad is unknown, and Doc is fostered with his brother, forming a perfect pair: the “professor” and the “nap specialist.” Doc stays close to his people, enjoys snuggles, and likes to be in the middle of whatever is happening, as if he’s keeping track of everything. He brings a fun, attentive energy that feels very fitting for a pup named Doc.

Like all young puppies, Doc will need continued training, consistency, patience, and socialization as he grows. With direction and structure, he’ll channel all that curious, “in-charge” energy into becoming a wonderful companion. Doc was born in October 2025 and is fostered in Texas.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Mutts N Such Rescue's Adoption Policy
The initial phase of our adoption protocol involves prospective adopters completing an adoption application. Following submission, our administrative team conducts a thorough review, and if approved, the application is then forwarded to the animal's foster. Subsequently, a phone interview is scheduled to address follow-up queries, provide additional information about the pet, and acquaint the adopter with our organization. If the interview is successful, arrangements are made for a meet and greet, along with a home visit. For pets adopted out of state, the meet and greet and home visit are conducted virtually. The final steps in our adoption process include verification of identification, finalization of the adoption contract, and payment of the adoption fee.
