He has a playful, fun-loving spirit and enjoys engaging with his people, but he also knows when it’s time to relax, settle in, and get comfy. He does wonderfully with small children, is said to be good with other dogs, and is very intelligent, picking up on things quickly. Cats are unknown, as he has not had interactions with them.<br/><br/>This decision is being made with an extremely heavy heart. Due to changes in personal circumstances and lifestyle, Doc’s owner has come to the difficult realization that they are no longer able to provide the level of time and care Doc deserves. This choice is being made entirely out of love for Doc and a desire to see him thrive in a home that can better meet his needs.<br/><br/>Doc is deeply loved and will remain with his owner until the right home is found.
