Dobby's Story

Hi, I'm Dobby!

Yes, just like the famous house elf! I got my name because of my adorable pointed ears that sometimes stick straight out to the sides—and because I LOVE socks enough to make my namesake proud. Leave one lying around, and there's a pretty good chance Ill claim it as one of my treasures!

I'm an approximately 2-year-old mixed-breed pup with a goofy personality and a very big heart. I absolutely love to cuddle, and I'm happiest anywhere my people are. Ill curl up beside you on the couch, stretch out nearby while you work, or quietly keep you company as you go about your day.

When I'm feeling playful, I enjoy chasing a Frisbee, exploring the yard, or simply lying in the warm grass and soaking up the sunshine. I'm a boy who truly appreciates the simple pleasures in life.

I can be a little nervous around loud noises, and very young children can sometimes make me feel unsure. I do well with older children and adults who understand that I may need a little extra time, patience, and reassurance when meeting new people or adjusting to new situations. Once I feel safe, my loving and loyal personality shines through.

If you're looking for a best friend who will make you laugh during the fun times, stay close during the quiet times, and faithfully follow you through life, I'm your boy!

I'm housebroken, up to date on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Gosh, who could ask for more? All I need now is a family—and maybe a sock or two—to call my own.
