Dobber Miniature Dachshund Springfield, MO

What do you do when you lose the only family you've known for your whole life? You do the best you can. That's what I'm doing. I'm Dobber, a 10-year-young, 9-pound, miniature dachshund boy, on the hunt for my true forever. Even though I am 10, I have the energy of a young guy plus I can be quite persistent in getting what I want (only in a good way of course).

I get along with other dogs, cats and, of course, respectful children. As I become more comfortable in my new surroundings, I'm getting better with house training. The crate is not my friend but I'll go in if I have to. Although I'm pretty good on a leash, I prefer my home to have a securely fenced yard where I can roam. I'm not an escape artist but I'm tiny and can fit through itty bitty spaces. No apartments for me as I'm still a little vocal at unfamiliar sounds. I do have a heart murmur that currently requires no treatment but will need to be monitored.
