Dixon's Story

Dixon came to us very underweight and smelling really bad. He’s had a nice bath and is getting special treats to help him put on some weight. He seems to be enjoying all of the attention that he’s getting. He’s a beautiful boy with a very attractive brindle coat and gorgeous light eyes.<br/>He’s new to the Shelter and we are getting to know him better each day. Sable Kennel's Adoption Policy

We are by appointment only. We advertise the available animals on our Facebook page and now on petfinder. Potential adopters will email us for an application. That application will be reviewed and once approved, the adopters can make arrangements to meet the dog. All dogs, kids and adults in the household must come for a meet and greet prior to taking the dog home. We will provide advice and support after adoption to make sure that the dog succeeds in their new home.

Our mission is to care for and support the lost, abused and discarded dogs until we can find loving and safe homes for them. We are a safe haven for dogs who have been failed by their previous owner.
