UPDATED 10/10/2025 Hi! My name is Dixie! I'm a 6-year old female bloodhound! I'm a very loving & easygoing girl! I really, really LOVE people! I'm also very mannerly! Although I do like to jump up on people - especially if I like them! I'm very playful! I like fetch & ball. When I do something good, I get so excited & playful! For instance, I don't really like the vet to examine my ears, but once they are all done, I'm a happy girl! I jump & play! But what I love the most are treats & the water! I used to have a splash pad & I loved it! I also love little swimming pools, ponds, rivers & going for boat rides! Really anything that has to do with water! And treats! Don't forget, I LOVE treats! I'm pretty easy to walk! Also, I love to go for car rides! I just hang out in the back seat & enjoy the trip! I'm housetrained. I'll whine if I need to go outside. I'm used to being crated (in a very large crate) when my people leave the house & at night. But during the day, I want to hang out in the couch or outside! I would love a fenced in yard so I can hang out outside! I just love to watch the birds! I'll sit in the back yard & just watch them do their thing! I've lived with other dogs, & I do well with them, especially if they are submissive. But I would be totally fine being the only dog - I just want to be around people! I need a new home because one of the other dogs in my former home picked on me, & I finally got fed up & would fight with her. I can be protective of my food & bones with other dogs - but I'm totally fine with people! I've never lived with cats or other animals. I haven't been raised with children, but I've been around children aged 6-12 years. I'm a bloodhound & so I slobber - it's just who I am! :) I am already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines, & now I just need my forever home! Kennel License #4068
