Dixie's Story
Dixie is a female, approximately 2 years, 17 pounds mixed breed. The vet says she may be a heeler mix. We pulled her from a kill shelter in Texas just before her timestamp was up. Once we got her to the vet we discovered that she is heartworm positive. She has started on her heartworm treatments and we are hoping that she finds an adopter soon so that she can come to her new home in the NJ areas as soon as she has finished her treatments.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us (see email below) or even better yet, apply to adopt her!

- Personality: friendly
- Good with: people, and dogs.
