Dixie's Story

Born on December 25th, this adorable litter of seven is a joyful blend of Border Collie and Shepherd — bright, sensitive, people‑oriented pups already showing the intelligence and heart these breeds are known for.

Their family was experiencing a significant hardship and made the difficult decision to surrender the puppies and their mama, Daisy, into our care so they could receive the stability, nutrition, and support they need during these early weeks of life. We're grateful they trusted us to help.

At just five weeks old, the world is still big and new to them. Some are bold explorers, some are gentle observers, and all are learning at their own pace. With patient guidance, each pup warms up beautifully and shows their sweet, affectionate nature. They love attention, enjoy being around people, and are eager to bond with families who can help them grow into confident companions.

Like many herding‑breed puppies, they're curious, energetic, and still figuring out how to navigate life — including the normal puppy habit of exploring with their mouths. With structure, positive training, and consistency, each one will blossom into a loyal, loving dog.

The entire litter will be staying with their mama, Daisy, in a foster home while they continue to grow and learn. They're not quite ready for adoption yet, but you're welcome to reach out with questions or early interest — connecting now helps us plan for the best possible placements once they're ready.

Ideal Homes:
• Families ready for puppy training and socialization
• Patient adopters who can help build confidence
• Homes that enjoy an active, engaged dog as they grow

These seven Christmas babies each have so much potential. With the right families, they'll shine.

Call 218‑681‑8045 for inquiries.

Many mobile home parks have their own rules (such as size restrictions), so please check with the park manager before attempting to adopt. Many cities have pet ordinances that must be followed.
